Community Assistance Partner Program

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the Indian Wells Community Assistance Partner Program is to help strengthen the desert communities and build a brighter future for those who live and work in the Coachella Valley. The City of Indian Wells seeks to improve the life for all residents, especially those who are most vulnerable; act as an effective steward of the City’s discretionary funds and work with others to address the core causes of problems facing the residents of this valley.

MISSION: Make a positive, exponential difference through funding local organizations whose core missions address health and human care.

ELIGIBILITY:
The City of Indian Wells seeks to form multi-year relationships with organizations providing social services to residents of the Coachella Valley, including services which may now or sometime in the future impact its own city’s residents. The City seeks to partner with organizations that share our view that the way to improve lives is by rallying the caring power of communities. Our partners will be responsible for results: the tangible and quantifiable impact they make every day, every year. Their long-term commitments are essential to addressing key social issues, such as helping children and youth achieve their potential; promoting financial stability and independence; and improving people’s health.
